If you have had comprehensive iron studies (Complete Blood Count, Ferritin, Total Iron Binding Capacity, and Transferrin Saturation) performed by your primary care provider or an accredited diagnostic laboratory within the last 30 days, you may submit those for clinical review. If your labs are older than 30 days, we can coordinate current testing for you.

The intravenous infusion itself typically takes about 60 minutes, followed by a mandatory minimum 30-minute clinical observation period during which our licensed RN and onsite physician verify that your vitals are completely stable. Please plan for approximately 90 minutes to two hours total for your visit.

If our clinical team determines based on your blood work or medical history that intravenous iron is not safe or clinically indicated, you will receive clear medical guidance and rationale from our provider. Because professional provider time is expended reviewing your health records and conducting screening, the $35 assessment fee is nonrefundable after services are rendered.

All iron infusions are prepared and administered by a Texas-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with our physician onsite in the facility throughout the entirety of your infusion and post-infusion observation.

Some patients require only a single therapeutic dose, while others with significant iron depletion may be prescribed a secondary or follow-up infusion ($299 each). Your specific regimen is determined by your supervising clinician based on your laboratory parameters and clinical response.
